Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026
Thryve ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting your personal information. This policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have. It is written in line with the Australian Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What personal information we collect
We only collect information that's reasonably necessary for what we do. Depending on how you interact with us, this may include:
Your name and contact details (such as email address and phone number)
Any information you choose to share when you contact us, make an enquiry, or work with us
Basic technical and usage information collected automatically when you visit our website (see Cookies and analytics below)
We do not collect sensitive information unless you provide it to us directly and it's relevant to the coaching work we're doing together.
How we collect it
Most of the personal information we hold is given to us directly by you. This happens when you fill in an enquiry form on our website, email or call us, or share details in the course of a coaching relationship or conversation.
In some cases, we may add your contact details to our records manually, for example after we've spoken with you or you've asked to stay in touch. We don't purchase contact lists or collect personal information about you from third parties without your knowledge.
How we use your information
We use your personal information to:
Respond to your enquiries and communicate with you
Provide our coaching services
Send occasional updates or marketing emails, where you'd reasonably expect to hear from us or have agreed to receive them
Improve our website and understand how it's used
We only send marketing communications occasionally. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and you can opt out at any time by using that link or contacting us directly.
Cookies and analytics
Our website uses cookies to help the site function and to keep it secure. We also use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, such as which pages are viewed and how people arrive. This information is aggregated and helps us improve the experience. It is not used to personally identify you.
You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings. Doing so may affect how some parts of the site work. For more on how Google handles this data, see Google's own privacy policy.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your personal information. We share it only where necessary to run our business, such as with the trusted service providers that support our website and email. These providers may store data outside Australia. We take reasonable steps to ensure any provider we use handles your information securely and consistently with this policy.
How we store and protect it
We take reasonable steps to keep your personal information secure and to protect it from misuse, loss, unauthorised access, or disclosure. We keep it only for as long as we need it for the purposes described here, or as required by law, and we take reasonable steps to destroy or de-identify it when it's no longer needed.
Accessing and correcting your information
You have the right to ask what personal information we hold about you, to have it corrected if it's inaccurate, and to ask us to delete it where appropriate. To make a request, contact us using the details below. We'll respond within a reasonable timeframe.
Making a complaint
If you have concerns about how we've handled your personal information, please contact us first so we can try to resolve it. If you're not satisfied with our response, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. The current version will always be posted on this page with the date it was last updated.
